Spox says pres meets with Sberbank CEO, discusses financials

MOSCOW, Feb 20 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin held a brief meeting with CEO of the country’s biggest lender Sberbank German Gref on Wednesday to discuss financial issues of the bank, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday.

“The president had a quite tight schedule yesterday, so they communicated briefly and discussed the current issues connected with the financials of 2019. They will continue the conversation, perhaps, next week and there will be another meeting at the end of this week, maybe a more comprehensive one,” Peskov said.
